Notes that stay on your device.
Write it down and it saves itself. No account and no uploads: your notes stay in this browser, so keep a backup if they matter.
Your note will open here.
How it works
Your notes stay in this browser
Pixel Notes keeps everything in your browser's own storage (localStorage). Nothing goes to my server, so there is no account and nothing for me to read. The notes are not encrypted, though, so anyone using this browser on this device can open them. Avoid writing passwords here on a shared computer.
How saving works
A moment after you stop typing, the note is saved, and any waiting save finishes if you switch apps or close the page. If you have Pixel Notes open in two tabs, each one picks up what the other saves. A note you leave completely empty is removed on its own.
Keep a backup
Clearing your browser data deletes your notes, and they do not move to your other devices by themselves. Download backup saves them all in one file. Restore backup adds that file to the notes in any browser, and when a note is in both places the newer one stays.
