Questions
Is it free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no watermark is added: you get the same video file Instagram serves.
Which quality do I get?
The one video file Instagram makes available for that Reel. This tool doesn’t re-encode it or offer made-up quality options.
Why doesn’t my Reel work?
Only public Reels can be saved. Reels from private accounts, deleted Reels and links to posts or stories won’t work. You never need to sign in to Instagram here.
Do you keep my links?
No. The link is sent once to Social Fetch, the service that looks the Reel up, and is not stored or logged on this site. The download link expires after 15 minutes.
Can I save anyone’s Reel?
Save Reels you made or have permission to use, and keep them for personal use. Reposting someone else’s video needs their permission, and credit the creator when you share.
Where does the file go?
Wherever your browser saves downloads. On iPhone, look in the Files app under Downloads; on Android, in the Downloads folder.
Not affiliated with Instagram or Meta. Lookups by Social Fetch.
